Soak Testing

Overview:

• 3+ years of experience in Soak testing.
• Create detailed soak testing plans and strategies.
• Demonstrated experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar
• Define objectives, success criteria, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for soak tests.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Conduct soak tests by simulating continuous user activity over extended periods.
• Monitor system performance and stability throughout the testing period.
• Analyze test results to identify issues such as memory leaks, resource exhaustion, and performance degradation.
• Generate comprehensive reports on findings, including detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts and tools for soak testing.
• Ensure soak testing is integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Work closely with developers, system architects, and operations teams to resolve identified issues.
• Understanding of EMS, NMS, network protocols and web technologies (HTTP, REST, WebSockets).
• Experience with database performance testing and profiling.
• Experience with monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace, Grafana).
