The Challenge
Founded in 1900, Backman Title provides title and related services within 9 locations across Utah. Their employees rely on technologies and data for most business processes. Backman Title needed to move to a virtualization model with more fault tolerance and less downtime. They also needed to create an environment that was easier to upgrade and support.
Our Approach
Terralogic has worked with Backman Title for over 10 years assisting them with the Server and Infrastructure needs. Terralogic has worked closely with the internal team at Backman to design, build, and support the move to virtualization.
The Solution
Terralogic assisted Backman Title in moving from a bare-metal server infrastructure with single points of a failure to highly fault tolerant virtualization environment with centralized data store on a Dell SAN. Terralogic also helped implement an Image Management Solution (Citrix Provisioning Server) so that application additions and upgrades could be installed in one central location for all users. This ensures that all users are utilizing the most up to date version of all software. Terralogic also helped revamp and simplify the network connectivity of the offices and replacing an expensive MPLS solution.
