El Paso, Texas – The University of New Mexico has chosen Terralogic Document Systems to oversee a time-critical, highly-confidential project to transfer its important human resource records into digital format.
TDS taught and qualified its workers in the preservation and confidential handling of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA Privacy rules in order to ensure the privacy and security of UNM’s data.
TDS has established an on-site, self-contained document conversion center on the UNM campus because of the private nature of the records. TDS is compiling, scanning, and indexing about 1.2 million pages of UNM HR documents at the center. The university’s Banner Application Extender system is then used to upload all of the records, providing dependable and practical digital access.
